IT’S TIME TO MAKE YOURSELF A PRIORITY.
kasey jarvis-mcStravick, LMFT
You're here because you’re done settling.
If you’ve had a hard time setting boundaries, I hear you. Struggling to find a healthy relationship? I’ve been there. Does the space between you and your partner keep growing? I know how hopeless that can feel.
No matter how discouraged, part of you must believe that change is possible. I am here to help you prove to yourself that things can get better.
you’re in the right place.
How I work
Respect for your valid experience is at the core of my therapeutic approach.
My style of therapy is approachable and relatable. It’s ok for us to laugh together; I want you to be yourself! I am NOT the therapist who will stare at you blankly. I am also NOT the therapist who will let session time pass without doing the work to help you achieve your goals.
Therapy is an investment, and I value greatly that you have set aside the time and money for my support. This means that I will gently challenge when it would benefit you and be honest with you if I determine that I am not an appropriate fit for your needs.
Our therapeutic relationship is a place to safely be emotionally vulnerable, to practice new communication tools, and to start trusting yourself.
HEre’s what I believe about therapy:
You are stronger and more capable than you might realize.
My clients consistently have good instincts and a capacity for growth beyond what they initially believe possible.
Investing in yourself positively affects other areas of your life.
Imagine the other things you could feel empowered to change by allowing yourself to have the support to heal.
Feeling seen is one of the most powerful, healing experiences.
I’m committed to providing this through empathy and to helping you achieve this within your relationships.
Get the support that’s right for you.
