THERAPY FOR SELF-CONFIDENCE IN PA
Feel empowered to be your most authentic self.
It’s hard to live life fully when you struggle to be yourself.
Having low self-confidence makes it so hard to trust yourself in making choices for yourself and navigating relationships.
Part of you knows what feels right and is sure of your perceptions. Another part finds a way to gaslight you into believing you’ve got it all wrong, and this part wins out when it’s time to assert yourself. Anxiety and negative self-talk have taken over.
Wouldn’t you love to trust your instincts? To set boundaries without being paralyzed by anxiety? How about feeling secure in your body exactly as it is right now? Allowing someone else’s standards to dictate your worth is a fruitless endeavor. You deserve to walk into a room standing tall, unafraid to be seen as you are.
You’re tired of feeling caught in this cycle:
People-pleasing at the expense of your own needs
Being your own worst critic
Feeling anxious about what others think of you
how i can help
Therapy for self-confidence can help you to be kinder to yourself.
My number one priority when working to help you increase self-confidence is for you to TRUST yourself. That means I am not the expert on your life; you are. The therapeutic relationship is a great place to practice asserting yourself - tell me what your goals are and what feels inaccurate for you if I make an interpretation that doesn’t fit your experience.
My therapeutic approach is insight-oriented, meaning a large part of the work is increasing awareness of underlying patterns and feelings contributing to your concerns.
You’ll also gain communication tools for setting boundaries effectively and expressing vulnerable feelings.
I aim to empower you to find self-love, to surround yourself with people who love and respect you, and to be boldly authentic.
